ActivLives Chantry Walled Garden

Description

ActivLives is a local independent charity working in Ipswich and across Suffolk. They work towards keeping people active, connected and involved with their local community through accessible sports and exercise, learning new skills and volunteering opportunities.

They have numerous sites across Ipswich however our event will be based at the Chantry Walled Garden. This is a heritage walled garden in a public park, with flower borders and vegetable-growing areas, as well as extensive glasshouses as part of our plant nursery.

We will be assisting the ActivLives charity to help them maintain their new walled garden centre and help with general gardening, watering and weeding.
