RSPCA June 2024 event

RSPCA Suffolk is an independent self-funding branch of the RSPCA. They offer rehabilitation and rehoming cats, dogs and small animals whilst also providing financial assistance with veterinary costs.

Our event will be based at their welfare clinic in Ipswich town centre. The welfare clinics are available to help those who are in receipt of named benefits and cannot afford private veterinary fees so that their pets do not suffer. The RSPCA can help with minor injuries, medications, flea and worm treatments and can also provide help with neutering and first vaccinations for kittens and puppies up to 14 months of age.

The clinic waiting area is in much need of some TLC to make a more pleasant and inviting area for everyone who attends the clinic, including their furry friends. Tasks fo the day include:

  • Taming the greenery: Weeding and trimming overgrown plants to create a more inviting space.
  • Giving the doors a fresh look: Painting the garage doors and a side door for a bright and welcoming entrance.
  • Organising the overflow waiting area: Decluttering and tidying the garage space used for overflow waiting and nervous dogs.

No experience necessary! Just bring your enthusiasm and willingness to lend a hand.
