The Big Knit with Age UK Suffolk

On February 21st, we went to Age UK Suffolk to count and sort the hats that are kindly knitted and donated locally as part of the Big Knit campaign. We managed to count almost 2000 hats, which is a massive help towards their target.

We also sent out a 'thank you' mailshot to almost 500 knitters, and not only that but we helped the lovely Jean to knit even more hats to add to the collection.

It's not too late to help! Age UK Suffolk have set a target of knitting 25,000 by June 2019. If you'd like to get involved then there are lots of amazing patterns on the Big Knit website. Hats can be sent directly to Age UK Suffolk, or Do Good are happy to pass them on for you!
